Fake IDs are a popular commodity among underage [usually 18 to 21-year-old] college students. The majority of the clubs in the District of Columbia require entrants be at least 18 to be admitted and 21 to consume alcoholic beverages.
With the aforementioned boundaries established, some students have found alternative methods of getting into clubs and purchasing alcohol.
